What is PlantWarrior's Plant-Based Protein?
Plant-Based Protein is made from 3 natural and high protein superfoods. These are Rice, Pea and Hemp. With research beginning to show the negative effects of 'whey protein', we designed Plant-Based Protein to be a healthy alternative. With 18g of protein per serving, our 100% vegan blend helps grow, maintain and repair the muscles and cells inside your body.
Why should I use Plant-Based Protein?
We need protein on a daily basis, as these little building blocks are found in every cell and tissue throughout the body. Our Plant-Based Protein makes sure your body is fed with the right amount of protein to improve your fitness, repair your body’s cells and build muscle. And the great thing? All of this is done the natural way.
Companies have gone to great lengths to convince us that “Whey Protein” is a healthy source of protein, hiding the negative effects that highly concentrated dairy supplements can have. We’re different, and that is why all the ingredients in our Plant-Based Protein are from wholefood sources, vegan and gluten/dairy free!
What’s inside a bag of Plant-Based Protein?
Inside one bag of our Plant-Based Protein, you will find 500 grams of our formula made from Rice, Pea and Hemp proteins. This works out to be 20 x 25 gram servings, which you can add to your favourite beverage to make a healthy and natural protein shake. We usually use nut milks (almond for example) and rice milk, but everyone has their own favourite. You can also add it to your smoothies to give them an extra protein boost.
What are the effects of Hemp protein?
Our Hemp protein ingredient is made from the food grade hemp seed and contains all of the 21 known amino acids. The protein is packed with healthy amounts of magnesium, iron, zinc and potassium and these all play critical roles in improving brain function, blood circulation and muscle function.
Hemp is believed to be one of the oldest domesticated crops. Throughout history, humans have grown different varieties of hemp for industrial and medical uses. Whilst hemp and cannabis are both taken from the same plant, they are both dramatically different. Hemp does not contain any drug or 'thc' that may get you high or negatively effect your body.
What does the Plant-Based Protein taste like?
Plant-Based Protein contains cocoa powder to give it a natural chocolate taste. It also contains stevia to bring out the flavour of the cocoa. We reccomend you use 300ml of plant-based milk to get the best tasting shake.
How do I take Plant-Based Protein?
Plant-Based Protein is best when mixed into milk to create a drinkable shake. We prefer nut milks (almond for example) and rice milks, although we respect your life choices. It's also fantastic to add into smoothies to give them an extra boost of protein.
